Pros and cons of working from home
We said at the beginning of this note that this new way of working facilitates the reconciliation of professional and family activities. This is very true, if we set limits that correspond both to their own family and the clients. Otherwise, it runs the risk of not committing the time necessary for employment or, at the other end, work indiscriminately until all hours, every day of the week. In short, although all the activities they need an efficient time management is never more true than when working at home. It’s good for kids to understand that mom is at home though, is working and, most difficult, the husband also understands. To separate the water, be preferable to have a private space, which is accepted by others as “the office” and a separate telephone line with voice mail and hours of operation explicit. With a little self-discipline will get used to “close” the door to his office after a certain time and let the answering machine handle that phone rings during dinner. That way, you avoid getting calls at all hours of work. This will enable the usual rest and you will avoid troublesome situations with family, which also takes time.

In short, that his family respected his work time, and that his clients respect the family time.
Remember that when it comes to setting limits, it is always best done from the beginning by establishing clear rules and reasonable, then it is more difficult. One last observation, work from home is great, but requires a high share of self-discipline, planning a schedule and stick to it, as we run the constant risk of going out to mow the lawn, make small talk with a neighbor, or just watch that movie today take for TV at 3 in the afternoon.
