If we were to be defined by a single feature vintage style would say that is based on love for the old. It is an elegant and full of old-style designs. Inspiration for this style comes from the decade of 30 and 40.
Without doubt one of the best places to apply it is in our room. So here’s a simple guide to implementing the vintage decor to your bedroom.
Regarding the furniture we recommend you choose dark wood like walnut, mahogany or cherry. Besides being popular woods for the 40 color makes them look older. The bedside should be tall and narrow (try to find a comfortable to match). Paint the wooden furniture with gold scrolls, large bouquets of pink roses or white. If you like metal finishes choose gold or bronze.
Get a large mirror and oval, with a frame that matches the rest of the furniture and hang above the dresser. On the other walls white photo hangs in non-matching of different shapes, sizes and finishes.
Looking glass perfume bottles and place your favorite perfume in them. Also, put the makeup and other toiletries in round boxes with floral and lidded wicker baskets.
To complete the decoration vintage looking fabrics in bright colors and fresh. The green, pink, sky blue and white are the most used. In your bed use a down comforter and cotton sheets. Place cushions on the chair seats and backs. Finally, stack two or three pillows at the head of the bed and enjoy your new decor.
