Home Remodeling
We will see in this post before and after a residence in California, conducted by (fer) Studio. This study was responsible for remodeling a house, classical, 1980, to give a contemporary design and stylish. For those who like large openings and large amounts of natural light this home design can be perfect. The “before”, the aspect that this house was originally shown in the following images, and can verify that the current is quite modern and renovated. After the process of remodeling the house transformed its classic aesthetics and also cottage became an extension. This process included interior and exterior remodeling of the home, including three bedrooms and added a master bedroom suite.


The floor area of the house was significantly expanded after the renovations, which aimed to give this house a new modern and contemporary look, adding private areas like the bedroom suite. The approach left open most existing house, the most feasible, both inside and outdoor areas. The existing house was defined by the area of a high intermediate roof decorated to resemble the head of a small cottage with a typical gate. The home is located in an area surrounded by a beautiful pine forest, the backyard is pretty open and included a swimming pool, this area was also renovated. Among the changes made were modified heights of the ceilings, created new areas, and fronts were replaced by glass walls.
In the kitchen, got an important visual communication with the back yard through a wall is removed and incorporated generous doors and windows that can be opened completely, allowing the flow between inside and outside the home. The kitchen area was completely opened up the room, including a small breakfast bar. On the back of the kitchen, open courtyard, installed a stainless steel top, thanks to fully open the windows, you get a direct link between the interior and exterior of the house.
Among the changes backyard featuring a fireplace, very attractive, made in cement and simple lines, there are some banks that surround it, also in cement, creating a welcoming environment.
