Pantone View Home Interiors 2009
The global color authority Pantone has launched a new guide for specialists in interior design, interior decorators and consumers with experience who want to keep abreast of the latest color trends in interior design.
The colors for 2009 according to Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of Pantone, are based on environmental trends that dominate today’s world. “Today, consumers look for innovative ways of recycling and reuse. The blades of the 2009 van in the direction of these trends, which will be reflected in designs and home products in the coming years”
Pantone View Home Interiors 2009 is a forecasting tool that provides color and trend inspiration, enabling designers to select the colors and color combinations when creating products for home interiors and design. The letter contains samples of 10 x 2.5 cm for each of the 69 colors, visual inspiration and color harmonies recommended.
Black & White Interiors
While this combination can be applied to classical interiors, the most common is to include black and white in modern and minimalist decor. A minimalist style that is the pair of colors that most suits you. Usually in an interior where you bet on these tones can be worked in two ways: one is to use the white “color” based on the painting of walls and floors, and include furniture, decorative fabrics and some black.
Another way is just the opposite, the black base that can be given by the dark walls or coverings, flooring and fabrics, using various objects as white fabrics and accessories. Although this is surely one way more risky, and only useful in spacious environments. Very often the contrast is usually cut at the touch of a different color. It looks beautiful indoor plant, a flower, a fabric, a small wall or other decorative complement to give a distinctive feel.
