Now I’m remembering a few things…
How to type with one hand.
That my sweat smells weird when I’m nursing…(TMI?)
Showering has become a luxury not easily afforded.
I miss my clothes.
I like to stare at the baby for hours.
I think everyone else likes to stare at my baby.
I should be sleeping instead of staring at the baby.
I can fall asleep anywhere, anytime, and have woken up only due to the kink in my neck.
I miss my other kids.
Life is good…something it’s hard for me to remember when I’m pregnant.
Good Enough

Yay little baby! I’m home from church with sick Laylee but when the sickness is gone, I’m coming over to steal your girlie.
So, so happy for you!!!!! And scared for me… having another.
BTW… I totally adore the name you’ve picked out.
I like staring at your baby too! Really I do!
I remember that feeling of distance from my oldest when my youngest was born. We got close again, but it did make me feel sad.
CONGRATULATIONS on the beautiful new baby!!! I’m so excited for you!!
That last line is oh so true!!
Now go and take a nap!
Ohhhhh!!! This post is AMAZING!! Congrats on the arrival of your newest little one!
Maybe I’ll be feeling the way you do six months from now
At the moment, I’m having a really horrible first trimester (that is almost over)! I swore I’d be the kind of woman who would love every minute of her pregnancy…but it’s kind of hard when the nausea and vomiting are relentless!
Congrats again! Hugs! xoxo
Oh yes, I can completely remember all of that too. Take care, enjoy these early moments as much as you possibly can. And fall asleep sitting up - you won’t be able to do that again until you’re ninety! (unless you have another baby) *wink*
Ah… newborns
Always something new to learn with each one!
Congratulations! Loved your post about the naming issue as well. I just read about that child in New Zealand who had her name changed by a judge….
Congratulations on the new baby! This is such a great post. I found your blog from Seattle Mom Blogs.
Oh yes, just stare at that baby all day long. That’s the right thing to do!
