I’m just not that into it.
I’m sure many of you feel my pain when I tell you we’ve been sick since November.
We had puking on Thanksgiving, at Christmas, and of course Easter wouldn’t be complete without someone throwing up.
Buster has missed school for 5 DAYS. Bubba woke up with a fever. Missy was so dehydrated yesterday that I almost took her to the hospital.
It’s been crazy. And it’s not just me. They are dropping like flies throughout the school district. My part of the world would be wiped out if something as serious as the Bird Flu came here.
So that’s what has been happening. My kids haven’t left their beds or the couch in days. And I’m there maid.
I think of my blog and all the stuff I could whine about, but I’m just not into it. I’m not addicted to writing in this blog. I like that I have it. I like reading other blogs during a mid-day break…but I realize I’m just not that into it.
Besides, this seat is hard. My behind can’t handle the pressure for too long. And my shoulders get all tense when I stare at the screen for an extended amount of time.
Does anyone feel me on this one?
I’ll be back from time to time. Maybe once a week.

Here, here! I had to do a double take to make sure I was reading your blog and not my diary…sick since November, check…not that into blogging lately, check. Maybe it’s the Spring weather. Maybe it’s self-awareness. Whatever it is, just go with it! I’ll still check in on you from time to time!
We actually made it through the holiday without being sick… although, the company that came to stay with us was sick… so, I suppose we could still get what they had :S
I’m starting to get on the path of not so much blogging. It’s been a struggle for me though… maybe I need an uncomfortable chair…
I’m so glad we’ve been ill-free for two whole weeks! I really understand wanting everyone to STAY WELL!!!

Not much longer til you get to change your surroundings for a while and come where it’s warm and cozy - but I’m on the verge of a nervous breakdown myself over different reasons - how about having the bank tell you they can’t fund your HELOC for your business anymore cuz so many Californians are foreclosing on the loans they took against their house at sub-prime a few years ago!! Rice and beans, here we come!!!
