Parenting is such a fun job! It would be so much easier if they all came with instruction guides... it sounds like you've got some really good ideas for teaching them to get along better!

I think you're right, and I definitely agree with you on the tattling - but my kids have yet to catch on and keep coming to me with the stupidest, most trivial complaints. Ugh.

The sibling relationships are some of the longest a person will ever have and I think being consistent as a parent, trying to be fair and setting a good example will go a long way with kids.

You're a great mom.

I'm with you on that. Less time fighting and more time laughing. My 3 passionate lawyers make it hard to have nothing but chaos in my house.
I can't wait to see you.

Your kids obviously love each other and when the dust settles they are so quick to kiss and make up. Now if you and Mr. Good Enough would stop biting each other in front of them, that might help a bit.

I think it is very smart to teach sibilings the value of each other, and to work for the collective whole. That is, after all, what family is all about- everybody succeeding, supporting and loving each other :-)

I like this post! I think you are doing a great job! I do wish I had learned the value of family earlier. It would have saved me a lot of headaches. See you Saturday!
