Eve

In which I became obsessed.

So I write a full report over here, but I think I can be even more free with my opinions on my own blog.

Believe me people I still have much to say on this matter.

A little history…

I’ve been through many a musician in my time. No one very successful, mind you, but some of them have been on small tours and played venues that were pretty packed. They could never get to the next level. Maybe my love, once forsaken, left them empty with nothing new to write about? At least that’s a nice way of looking at it. None of them made for good boyfriends. Although some had day jobs, one slept on the couch of his brothers condominium. A bit of an inconvenience when we were making out. It was that same one that would ask me for money when we went out to Denny’s after the shows. He was going nowhere fast.

Ben Lee looks like a Hobbit Rockstar. He’s very short, and has wild curly hair, but I don’t know how big his feet are. :) That being said, the guy must have an easy time with the women. I know if I was pre-Mr.Good I would become a groupie. Because when Ben Lee sings and plays his guitar…sorry, I spaced out there for a minute…where was I? Oh yeah, when he performs it’s amazing. That’s all I can say. Go see him when he comes to your town. It’s a beautiful thing.

I saw him once in Seattle about three years ago. I always liked his music when I heard it “on the radio,” but I have to say I was dissapointed in his performance abilities. I am sure that three years of touring has sharpened those skills so I might have to go see him again, but when I went I was so bored I actually fell asleep. (We were sitting in a booth). I am glad he continues to make it big in America. I am sure he is vastly different from the musicians you dated. Ambition is key, most musicians I have known are too lazy to work for their popularity. They think it should just happen.

wow, I’m glad I didn’t see him back then. He was excellent. But you already know my opinion!

I totally agree with Eve…Ben Lee rocked my socks off. Seriously, it was like seeing a huge arena show in a tiny little bar. AMAZING.

(It helps that he is dreamy…in a very rockerish way.)

(The suit jacked also helped. Am a sucker for a boy who knows the beauty of dressing up.)

(Oh, and he talked about his Nana. He got points for that.)

(And he sang a song while reading the lyrics on his Blackberry. Again, points.)

(Oh, and I got to touch his thigh.)

    (It was AWESOME.)

(Don’t worry, I’m still very very loyal to Rhett Miller. He’s my one true music love.)

Oh and a MILF is a - Mom I’d like to F— . Anyway, it isn’t pretty sounding, but it is meant as a compliment. I like the pics.
