Oh I, oh I’m still alive
Yes I’m still here. My husband has made it back safely, and we are SO happy to be a family again.
I miss my blogging time and will resume normal posting after we wrap up this vacation with a little 3 day camping trip.
Pictures will be posted, anecdotes will be written. School will start. A schedule may resume be constructed. I don’t want a repeat of last years Kindergarten fiasco.
So class, what did you do this summer? What was your favorite story of the summer? I realize we all can’t get away. But tell me you at least neglected your housework and ate take-out for a four day span?
Good Enough
I can finally respond to this question without shame - we FINALLY made it to the beach this summer for a day of boogie boarding and lounging. I thought when we moved to L.A. we’d go to the beach every weekend but man, there’s just always some reason we don’t make it. But yesterday, oh sweet yesterday we went.
Ohhh! Great new site! Love that you have your own dot com site! I was thinking of trying something other than Blogspot/Blogger but I am far too lazy to make the move. *sigh*
My summer was spent teaching my students from overseas. They lived with us for the summer and studied with me. We did all sorts of fun stuff like hitting the beach every afternoon, going horseback riding, attending pottery classes, traveling to different parts of Canada, etc. Fun, fun, fun!
Now I can catch up on my blogging until the next batch of students arrive in a few weeks!
